Hello, my name is Jeromy Alexander.
I am a thirty-two year old divorced single father of two living in Jackson, Michigan. I like to camp, fish, and play hacky sack. I could be a bit geeky, obsessive compulsive, or even eccentric, but I’m fine with that. I have three true passions in life: My family, skydiving, and building stuff on the Internet.
My family sounds a little complex, but it really is simple. I have one full blood sister, one half sister by adoption, one half blood sister, two step brothers, three ex step brothers, two step sisters, and two ex step sisters. My two boys are six and eleven and they are half-brothers to each other. My younger son lives with me, my older son lives with his mom. Both my sons are lucky to have great moms.
I’ve always liked to fix computers so I started do computer repair after I left high school. About the same time the Internet came of age and I went to work learning html followed by PHP, Perl, and MySQL. Now I work from home as a self-employed website developer and project manager. I check my email before I get out of bed and start meeting with clients as soon as the kids get on the bus. I also really enjoy blogging, but am terrible at it. I compensate by helping others with their blogs.
On my 29th birthday, I made my first skydive. It was planned as an one time event to celebrate my birthday, but I was instantly hooked. I completed AFF training and got licensed by the end of 2007. Now, in my fourth season, I have nearly four hundred skydives, a C License, and my USPA Coach Rating; if things go well, I hope to get my D license and maybe an AFF Instructor rating this year!
